itestra’s success story begins in Munich in 2003 with the establishment of Rehn und Pizka GbR. The company’s goal is to substantially increase efficiency and quality in software projects. To achieve this, from the beginning on, results from years of academic research are being applied.

In its first project, Rehn und Pizka GbR designs and realizes an innovative customer relationship management solution for a globally acting pharmaceutical company. Quickly, further orders from financial institutions and the manufacturing industry follow. For its clients, Rehn und Pizka GbR achieves significant performance increases in IT and critical business processes.

itestra GmbH is established as a limited liability company in 2004. In 2005, its Munich area office in Garching is opened. From 2004 to 2009, itestra and its customer base is constantly growing. For its achievements in implementing a business-critical trading platform and reducing project costs by 62%, itestra employees are being awarded the innovation award of the client. itestra is expanding internationally by opening a branch office in Tallinn, Estonia in 2008 and a branch office in San Francisco, USA in 2009.

Currently, the company employs 17 full-time software engineers, who contribute significantly to increasing productivity and profitability in IT strategy consulting projects and individual software development projects.

To further develop its technical know-how, itestra emphasizes in-house research, amongst others in project QuaMoCo, which is supported by the German Ministry of Education and Research. In parallel, professional expertise in the automotive, energy, financial, and pharmaceutical industries is constantly strengthened. On this basis, we constantly strive for our goal becoming the leading company for strategic software consulting and development.
